- — Account information: email address, name, and username when you register or sign in with Google.
- — Content you create: recipes, notebook entries, whiskey shelf data, tasting notes, and ratings.
- — Payment information: billing is handled entirely by Stripe — we store only your Stripe customer ID, not your card details.
- — Usage data: pages visited, features used, and AI prompt counts (for quota enforcement).
2. How We Use Your Information
- — To provide and operate the Service.
- — To process payments and manage your subscription.
- — To send transactional emails (password reset, email verification).
- — To enforce AI prompt quotas and Pro access.
- — We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
- — Google OAuth: if you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us per their privacy policy.
- — Stripe: processes payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
- — Anthropic (Claude): AI features send your prompts to Anthropic's API. Prompts may include whiskey and ingredient descriptions you provide.
- — Cloudflare R2: stores uploaded images (avatars, bottle photos).
- — Railway: hosts the application and database.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and private content will be deleted. Public recipes you contributed may remain unless you request removal.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@parallelhours.io. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR.
6. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF cookie for security. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service.
